MG Motors Pakistan Shared Part-II of Video Package “Daren Sammy’s Adventure of Lifetime with MG”

MG Motors Pakistan has shared Part 2 of the video package “Daren Sammy’s adventure of lifetime with MG”. The video contains Daren Sammy’s trip and adventure from Lahore to Malam Jabba on MG HS SUV. West Indian former skipper and PSL franchise Peshawar Zalmi’s Mentor paid a visit to Swabi and Malam Jabba with Peshawar Zalmi owner Javeed Afridi and other teammates. Javeed Afridi is a Pakistani entrepreneur who helped to bring MG Motors to Pakistan, the assembly unit of the British Motor Automobile brand is working near Lahore. Javeed Afridi broke the good news today on his Twitter that the first MG automobile has been assembled from MG JW SEZ Lahore Unit.

MG JW Automobile has recently acquired Greenfield Status under Auto Development Policy 2016-2021, as per the policy Greenfield status allows the international car manufacturers to set up assembling units of user-friendly electric cars in Pakistan. MG Motors (Morris Grudges) is a British Automotive Company that is a subsidiary of SAIC Motor UK – a British division of China-based SAIC (Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation) Motors. MG motors Pakistan (MG JW Automobiles) is a joint venture of JW-SEZ and SAIC Motors.        

Darren Sammy got the opportunity to visit northern areas of Pakistan with other Peshawar Zalmi Teammates after the PSL 6 postponed due to covid. He spent time at Malam Jabba enjoying the trip, eating some delicious Pakistani foods and playing street cricket. He admired the beauty of Pakistan and tweeted that he is “grateful to discover the beauty of Pakistan outside cricket”.   

The former West Indian skipper seen in the video traveling on MG HS SUV, he admired the smooth drive of the MG SUV. Darren Sammy has also seen driving an SUV on the motorway. The video package “Daren Sammy’s Adventure of Lifetime with MG” released in two parts, first part is released in April this year.
