Meanwhile, to increase HBL PSL Viewership, PCB is also planning the live streaming to be available on Facebook for global cricket fans. Pakistan Cricket Board is collaborating with Facebook in this regard to bring live streaming of PSL for global cricket fans using its “Paid Online Events” platform. The Facebook and PCB partnership will allow the global reach for PSL.

Paid Online Evens platform of Facebook will help PCB monetize the PSL Matches by requiring the fans a nominal one-time sign-up fee to access the broadcast. Policy Lead Pakistan for Facebook, Sehar Tariq said “We are excited to partner for PSL this year. With support from PCB, we have been able to connect PSL’s global fan base to view their matches around the world” The online event will be available only in the countries where PCB has no broadcasting agreement with international media partners like Pakistan, India, UK etc.

After a number of plan alterations finally, the schedule of the remaining matches has also been finalized. The matches will start on June 09, 2021 and the final will be played on 24 June 2021 at Abu Dhabi. Teams are altered and a number of new players are attached with different franchises. The tournament was originally scheduled to be played on February and March 2021.
